Mark Raymond
Mark Raymond, Jr. is the founder and CEO of The Split Second Foundation (SSF), a nonprofit in New Orleans dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities through holistic wellness programs. Following a life-altering spinal injury in 2016, Mark became a passionate advocate for disability rights, focusing on creating access to comprehensive care, fitness, mental health support, and resource navigation. His work addresses disparities in rehabilitative health and promotes equity across the Gulf South. Mark also chairs the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority and serves on multiple boards, pushing for inclusivity and accessibility at all levels. His efforts have earned him numerous community awards, including Gambit’s “40 Under 40.”
